We entered the Urban sector and developed a freestyle platform that has attracted over 350,000 YouTube views and nearly 1,000 subscribers. Through our distribution efforts, the artists’ music has also achieved more than 10,000 streams across streaming platforms.

TAKE THE MIC

TAKE THE MIC is an urban music video series that spotlights rap artists with a simple, focused stage: they take the mic and perform their track for our platform. The format is intentionally minimal, a brief intro as the mic is handed to the artist (by me or another host) cuts straight into a raw, performance-driven video. That pared-back approach keeps the attention on the music and the artist’s presence, promoting urban rap culture by showcasing songs in a clean, professional setting and building a direct connection between artists and fans through intimate, performance-first videos.

Launched two years ago, TAKE THE MIC grew from earlier music-platform initiatives in London and Manchester, beginning locally in Manchester where the series is based. As we scale production and bookings, we’re planning expansions to London and Birmingham to grow our audience with consistent, high-quality performance content and to give more artists opportunities to reach new listeners.
